With the release of Vacid Turfs, Vacid began to complement the playfulness that had previously permeated its individual collections with some more serious components. Instead of primarily focusing on bold branding and eye-catching designs, the focus of the release was on simple products with striking cuts. The fact that Vacid was also moving beyond the boundaries of its originally targeted streetwear audience for the first time was also evident in the product range: with a knitted cardigan, Vacid Turfs included a product that had never been part of the company's range before.
